When I load the default content everything looks fine. As soon as I go into the homepage to make edits (even without editing anything at this point) I am getting the title showing up. I notice a few other things as well like text placement and rendering. What am I missing?

Thanks for using Hello! Pro 3! We’re sorry to hear you’re having issues.
Unfortunately there were a few files that got missed in an update of Hello! Pro 3. We’ve sent the latest fix to StudioPress, and the new files should appear soon in your Account.
In the meantime, if you would like to manually add the correct template files yourself, simply follow these instructions:
- In the /hello-pro-3/ folder, create a new folder called /page-templates/
- Create two new PHP files inside this new folder: blocks.php and landing.php
- Copy and paste the code from these files into your new PHP files:
- Upload the new /page-templates/ folder to your site via FTP
- Assign your Homepage – Page Template to be the “blocks” template.
- Assign the Landing Page Example – Page Template to be the “landing” template.
This should solve some of the styling issues you are experiencing.
Please let us know if you continue to experience issues after trying this solution.
Thanks and good luck using our Hello! Pro 3 theme!

Looks good. I deleted “/page_landing.php” as two “Landing” pages were showing up under Page Attributes > Template.
Thought I would share that just in case its overlooked 🙂

I am still having issues with the title showing up on the home page. There is no blocks page, just a (no title) – Front Page which is my home page. There is a
Landing Page-Post Page and a postpage. Nothing mentions blocks except a Block Content Examples page. Please advise on exactly what these pages should be named so as to use the correct php files. I just updated from an older version of this template.
I am also seeing the words (Edit) just above the footer???

Studio Press never updated the theme on the download page. So if that’s where you got it you’ll want to go get the code from above for the patch.

I already did what you recommended with the php files but nothing changed. What should the pages themselves be named.

I got it fixed.
