link styles

I am developing a site on a staging server and I am experiencing issues with the link styling. The site requires a login.

The links in the customizer are set to:

Link color: #00adef;
Accent color: #ccc;
text-color: #fff;

This is what the .button class links should be set to. But button in the footer is inheriting styles from <a> even though it is set to class=”button” The text on the button is appearing blue and not white.

I want the body links to be:

a { 
color: #04307c;
text-decoration: underline; 
} 

The buttons to be:

.button { 
color: #fff; 
background-color: #00adef; 
} 

Also, I am trying to create button links with the featured page advanced widget. The widget code is like this:

<a href="#">Some text here </a>
 </div> 

For the more links: I tried styling both classes. It seems to appear right in the customizer, but it is putting a border under link and the text is appearing blue not white.

	text-align:center;
	text-decoration:none;
}

.more-link { 
	color:#ffffff;
	background:#00adef;
