I’m installing the theme on an existing site. I used wp_staging to make a test site and installed Course Maker Pro and let it install it’s demo pages, plugins, etc. I got the home page like I want it and then installed Course Maker Pro on the main site and duplicated my home page setup from the staging site.
The issue is that the home page still says “Home” and the header is white. The header I think briefly turns clear if I start to scroll down, and then turns the gray color as I keep scrolling down.
I’ve compared settings and plugins, etc. between the staging site and the main site and can’t find the difference.
The main site is in Maintenance Mode so I can’t really include the URL.
Found it.. Page Attributes->Template needs to be “Blocks”
We’re glad to hear you found the answer to your issue!
And yes, you will want to use the ‘Blocks’ template when using the Block Editor.
The Course Maker Pro theme was created back when the Gutenberg editor was becoming a new option on WordPress sites, so we wanted to have a way for users to create content using the Classic Editor or the Block Editor, and this was our way of defining either case.
Thanks again for using Course Maker Pro!
