The “Testimonials” section on the homepage is constructed using blocks. When using Genesis 2.8, this section is installed when using the optional One-Click Theme Setup feature.
Container Block
This section is created with a Genesis Blocks “Container” block. In the settings for the Container block, we set the following options:
- Width: Full-width
- Top Padding: 1%
- Bottom Padding: 50%
- Inside Container Max Width: 660px
- Background Image: (default image bundled with the Theme)
- Image Opacity: 70
- Background Color: “White” #fff
- Additional CSS Class: testimonial
The Padding settings shown are for the default image bundled with the theme. Modify these settings to fit your needs.
Content Blocks
Inside the Container block, we added the following block:
- A block to display the Social Proof Testimonials Slider
The SP Slider block displays a slider of your testimonials. In the settings for the SP Slider block, we set the following options:
- Post Settings:
- Sort Posts By: Random
- Slider Settings:
- Autoplay: enabled
- Display Time: 3 seconds
- Animation Style: fade
- Show Dots: enabled
- Vertical Align: middle
- Padding:
- Sync Padding: enabled
- Padding: 0
- Colors:
- Slider Colors: Arrows Color: (Primary color)
